Organised by the president of the Italian Parliament (Camera dei Deputati) and by the Region of Lazio “Politiche giovanili nella Società della Conoscenza” hold in the most prestigious room of the Italian Parliament (1st Chamber).
This event had the goal to prepare the ground for a new approach for improving
the employment of young knowledge workers, based on the technologic and
on social innovation.
Basic elements for this new approach are the capacity building and the empowerment
of the local young workers, and the usage of ICT for enabling new forms
of business networking and new forms of work organisation.
The main Session “Conoscenza e produzione in Rete per lo
sviluppo e l’occupazione giovanile. Pontos de Cultura ed Ecosistemi
digitali” ( “Networked knowledge and production for the development
and employment: Center of Culture and Digital Ecosystems” ) presented
the two experiences
• “Knowledge Spots” developed by the Brazilian Ministry
of Culture (Pontos de Cultura or Officine dell’Arte)
• Digital Business Ecosystems developed by the European Commission,
which are perceived
The experiences have created large interest, and are perceived by decision
maker as successful and viable approach, which could contribute to create
new opportunities of employment and inclusion in the production process
citizens, which are excluded.
The Digital Ecosystem initiative was presented by the European Commission, Francesco Nachira, which presented the European Framework and objectives and by Mr. Fernando Beltran, Director General of IST for the Spanish Region of Aragon, which presented the methodology used for transferring the oucome of research results in Aragon and the a tangible economic impact.
The event was held in the most simbolic room of the Italian Parliament
1st Chamber. This is the room where the Italian Republic was declared, and
where the Members of the Parliamen (MPs) decided to resign when the Fascism
de-facto overruled the Parliament).
The meeting was attended by 150 invited participants, including several
MPs, two Ministers (from Brazil and Italy), two Deputy Ministers, relevant
regional decision-makers.
